Shrubs  -  Green.

  • Arboricola (green).   4'-5' Part shade to full shade. Easy to prune bush that is drought tolerant.
  • Arboricola Trinette.   4'-6' Full sun to part shade. Varlegated leaves, easy to prune, drought tolerant.
  • Arborvitae.  Evergreen that varies in color, size and shape. Prefers full sun and well drained soi.
  • Australian Tree Fern.   Prefers dappled sun to shade, moist but well drained soil. Not drought tolerant.
  • Bahama Coffee.  To 5' in height. Sun to part shade. Tolerates a wide range of soil. Slow grower.
  • Bamboo.  Clumping varieties are non—invasive. Water and fertilize regularly for maximum growth.
  • Bird of Paradise.  20‘ to 30', sun to part shade. Tropical foliage, clumping. blooms wintere through spring.
  • Blue Point Juniper.  Pyrimidal shaped evergreen,to 6' in height. Prefers full sun.
  • Boxwood Japanese.  2' to3', full sun to part shade evergreen. Can be pruned to form short, tight hedge.
  • Burfordi Holly.   Evergreen, to 4' in height. Sun to part shade, medium watering needs, shiny green leaves.
  • Burle Marx Philodendron.   Excellent as ground cover, prefers shade, will climb trees if left to do so.
  • Buttonwood Green.   6' to 20', Native plant, can be pruned, prefers full sun to part shade, tolerant of wet or dry soil.
  • Buttonwood Silver.  4' to 6', Full sun to part shade, known for it's soft, silvery foliage.
  • Carissa Boxwood.  2' to 3' Full sun, drought and salt tolerant, compact shrub with white flowers.
  • Carissa Holly.  Slow growing 4‘ to 8', compact, dense, evergreeen shrub.
  • Cattley Guava.   6' to 14‘, can be pruned, showy bark, prefers full sun to part shade, fruit attracts birds.
  • Clusia Rosia.  Dwarf to 20', Full sun to part shade, evergreen with pink blooms, attracts birds, bees and butterflies.
  • Cocoplum Redtip.   Florida native, 12' to 15', can be pruned as hedge, evergreen with edible fruit.
  • Coontie.   Native, clumping cycad, to 3', Part shade to sun, beautiful, salt tolerant plant.
  • Eleagnus Pungens.   Mounded foliage up to 15', full to part sun, small white fragrant flowers turn to reddish brown fruits. Other varieties available.
  • Eugenia .  18' to 20', can be pruned at 6', full sun to part shade, great for hedge or screen.
  • Ficus Benjamina.   Typical height 15' to 20', full sun to part shade, fast grower, invasive root system.
  • Ficus Green Island.   4‘ by 4', can be kept at 2' high, Full sun, mounding shrub or cascading ground cover. 3' to 5'.
  • Florida Privet.   3' to 5' in height, full sun, well drained soil, good speciman or hedge material.
  • Holly Needlepoint.   Full sun to part shade, 10‘ to 15', dark green foliage and attractive red berries.
  • Illex Schilling.   2, to 4' Full sun, slow growing, dense, mound shaped shrub.
  • Indian Hawthorn.   Low growing to 3, full sun, low maintenance shrub with white to pink blooms in summer.
  • Juniper Blue Pacific.   l' in height with a 4' spread, full sun, well drained soil, low spreading evergreen with blue-green needles.
  • Juniper Parsoni .  2' - 4' in height by 5' to 8' in wide, full sun, well drained soil, attractive groundcover, accent or massing plant.
  • Ligustrum Green.   To 15' high, full sun to part shade, a vigorous, compact shrub or small tree, prune to shape.
  • Ligustrum Jack Frost.   6' to 8' in height, varigated leaf, great as shrub or accent.
  • Philodendrum Selloum.   l2' to 15', sun to part shade, tropical plant with large leaves, great for shady area.
  • Philodendrum Xanadu.   3' in height, shade to part sun, slow growing dwarf, full and compact, dark green foliage.
  • Pittosporum . 4' to 6', full sun, well drained soil, foundation or border shrub, evergreen and drought resistant.
  • Podocarpus.   6' to 20', good tall hedge plant, full sun well drained soil, moderate growing evergreen that can be pruned.
  • Podocarpus Pringles.   Dwarf variety, 3' by 3', low growing dense evergreen hedge, cold tolerant.
  • Saw Palmetto.  3‘ to 10', full sun to part shade, low growing, drought tolerant.
  • Sea Grape.   5' to 25', full sun well drained soil, native plant that attracts birds, salt tolerant.
  • Simpson Stopper.   Up to 25' in height, full sun to part shade, Native plant that can be pruned to shape.
  • Torulosa Juniper.   10' to 15', full sun to part shade, upright pyrmidal shape.
  • Viburnum Awabuki.   10, to 15', full sun to part shade, fast, dense growth pattern, evergreen that is cold tolerant.
  • Viburnum Odoratissimum.   20' by 15', full sun, great hedge plant that is fast growing and can be pruned to shape.
  • Viburnum Suspensum.  4' to 6' full sun well drained soil, fast growing shrub that blooms on and off all year.
  • White Stopper.  To 20' in height, sun to part shade, beautiful native speciman that attracts birds.
  • Wild Coffee.  Up to 5', sun to part shade, attractive to a variety of butterflies and birds.
  • ZZ Plant.   To 3', shade and well drained soil, nice, easy house plant for low light area.
